SACRAMENTO, CA — Senses Cultural recently hosted an in-house musical performance titled “Naghmeh and Ann: Vocal and Musical Improvisation” under its Art for Autism initiative, bringing together world-class artistry and a charitable mission to advance scientific understanding of autism.
The performance featured Maestro Alireza Shah Mohammadi and his talented musicians Behfar Bahadoran and Nariman Assadi, delivering an extraordinary display of musical improvisation that captivated an audience of over 70 guests. Their performance, rich in emotion and spontaneity, left a lasting impression of passion, creativity, and love.

Held in a serene open-air setting, the concert offered a rare opportunity to experience the beauty of Iranian traditional music in an intimate and peaceful environment.
In her opening remarks, Tata Monfared, Founder and Executive Director of Senses Cultural, highlighted the role of artists in fostering unity, understanding, and cultural dialogue. She also shared plans to bring this performance to prestigious venues such as the UCD Mondavi Center and Düsseldorf University in Germany, supporting the Genetic and Stem Cell Research program aimed at improving treatments for autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
