Senses Cultural invites individuals and institutions that value giving voice to under-represented communities such as members of the autism community to contact us. We work across cultures to support people with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, and welcome working with like-minded groups that can help us advance our work. We offer opportunities to collaborate, sponsor, host, and promote projects on autism and neurodevelopmental disorders that fulfill our common goals.
We are also pleased to work with a dedicated group of multi-cultural and multi-talented volunteers and interns who help us raise awareness about autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. Together we seek to create cross-cultural understanding and tolerance for people coping with these disorders.
Senses Cultural’s founder Tahereh (Tata) Monfared is a longtime cultural and health advocate. She immigrated to the United States from Iran and has promoted the Iranian culture in America since 1997. From her hometown of Sacramento, she has worked with local and international universities to publish, and gather speakers featuring academic and cultural luminaries with links to Middle Eastern cultures.
Since 2012, Tata has dedicated her time, energy and resources to raising awareness about autism and neurodevelopmental disorders in Middle Eastern communities by offering free professional educational webinars and holding training workshops in the United States and in the Middle East on autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. Senses Cultural is a logical extension of Tata’s charitable aspirations. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Senses Cultural is well-positioned to recruit partners and support for its vision for building a better world for people dealing with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. More recently, Senses Cultural has broadened its activities to include research on autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, by working with top scientists in the field in both the United States and in Europe. These scientists have traveled to the Middle East with Tata, and together, they continue to sponsor research and training on autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.
So please join us by supporting our activities, and don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to answer your questions and build lasting partnerships.
Senses Cultural is a logical extension of Tata’s charitable aspirations. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Senses Cultural is well-positioned to recruit partners and support for its vision for peace through cultural exchanges in the fields of health and the arts.
Senses Cultural is dedicated to creating a peaceful and healthy world by fostering understanding about the science, research and treatments for autism and neurodevelopment disorders. We use different tools to raise this understanding, including through the arts. We cultivate a national and international network of artists, scholars and cultural advocates who work in the field, and organize events for health experts and artists beyond their own geographic and social borders, to reach a multi-cultural worldwide audience.
Our key partnerships are with leading world scientific institutions and universities in the United States and in Europe that have made breakthroughs in autism research. Together, we build and implement research projects to advance science and treatments for autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. You can partner with us by funding our research.
By holding regular national and international conferences, educational workshops, and training events for professionals working on autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, Senses Cultural shares the latest research with local communities.
Senses Cultural offers partnership opportunities to interested organizations to collaborate, sponsor, host and promote projects that fulfill our common goals. We encourage projects in which we can partner with others to build cross-cultural understanding and tolerance about autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, and promote research in the field.
