To celebrate Nowruz and the beginning of Spring, we are delighted to bring you a new interview with esteemed professor, Dr. Paul Hagerman from the University of California, Davis MIND Institute. Here he speaks about our collaborative project, Gene Engineering Approaches to the Treatment of Fragile X-Associated Neurodevelopment and Neurodegenerative Disorders Including Autism.
With the beginning of Spring comes the celebration of Nowruz throughout much of the Middle East and Central Asia. Nowruz, meaning ‘new day’, starts during the Spring equinox and marks the beginning of the new year on the Iranian calendar. While different regions celebrate in different ways, Nowruz is traditionally a time to gather together with your friends, family, and community to reflect on the past year and express your hopes for the coming year.
In this spirit, we at Senses Cultural would like to thank you for your support in this past year and express our hopes for the next year. We recently announced our partnership with renowned scientists from the University of California, Davis MIND Institute and Düsseldorf University to launch a ground breaking research project and hope to raise the funds for this project in the coming year! With your help we can reach our goal of $456,000 and contribute to the development of promising medical therapies for autism, Fragile X syndrome, and related neurodevelopmental disorders.
