This Thanksgiving, Senses Cultural feels blessed and thankful for our many opportunities to improve the lives of families in the Middle East and those of Middle Eastern descent in the U.S. The seeds that we’ve eagerly planted have provided us a tree full of the blossoms of possibilities. We have accomplished this through love, passion and determination aiming to bring goodness to our community and beyond. We are striving to reach our highest potential through the help of our friends at the UC Davis MIND Institute and other institutions around the world.
UC Davis MIND Institute works with Senses Cultural to expand autism education, treatment and research through academic collaboration
Senses Cultural is pleased to announce that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UC Davis MIND Institute, a research center committed to the awareness, understanding, prevention, care, and cures of neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism.
Dr. Randi Hagerman, the Medical Director of MIND Institute and an expert in fragile X syndrome, one of the causes of autism, says the MOU with Senses Cultural creates an academic bridge. Through Senses Cultural, Dr. Hagerman and other experts from the U.S. had the opportunity to travel to both Tehran and Esfahan in Iran to participate in a series of workshops on autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
Dr. Hagerman recently stated, “It is our pleasure to collaborate with Sense’s Cultural to advance educational endeavours and research between MIND Institute professionals and similar professionals in Iran. I really believe that our relationship with Senses Cultural will not only help families with autism but is also a catalyst for bringing about positive interactions between our two countries, and I believe that these collaborations will further world peace.”
Thank you, and a very wonderful Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
