Dear Friends,
May has been a month of many great developments and surprises for our organization. Senses Cultural celebrates its birthday in May, and many of our most exciting projects has been developed in May. And now, in May of 2014, we have more good news to celebrate.
This month, Senses has received its 501c3 nonprofit approval, allowing us to receive tax-deductable donations, among other benefits. Our federal tax ID number is 45-5335730.
Ever since Senses became an NGO, we’ve been blessed with a magnificent team. We are grateful to our board, including Barbara Wolf, for her extraordinary conceptual writings and observations; Joanna Durkin, for her keen advice and support; Nasser Moinee, for his valuable experience and passion in support of our humanitarian projects; Benjamin Sarem, for his strong advocacy in project development; and Shokraneh Monfared, a nonprofit specialist who was previously manager-in-chief of Senses magazine.
Senses is also indebted to its extraordinary team of professional contributors, people with wonderful passion and understanding: Elizabeth Sherwin, Edith Crawford, Robert Clark Young, Golbon Eghtedari, Sina Araghi, and Sahar Dabirian. In addition, the work of a professional Iranian journalist, Mr. Abolhassan Mokhtabad, has been of tremendous value to our Farsi-language media relations.
We are grateful to all of our supporters for aiding Senses in creating projects that aim to achieve a peaceful and healthier environment for all. Thank you to all of you for continuing to support our mission.
