Senses Cultural
October 4, 2019
The coordinated action of climate strikers to hold protests across some 150 countries has once more shed light on how important it is to preserve and protect our environment. Cutting edge research by Senses Cultural demonstrates that environmental health directly impacts autism and other neurological disorders.
In the months ahead, Senses Cultural will raise more awareness about the direct link between environmental pollution and autism in an effort to support climate strikers.
Since 2014, Senses Cultural has held frequent seminars on the topic at San Francisco State University (SFSU), UC Davis and in the Middle East.
Our workshop at SFSU brought world experts together to discuss how conflict and war in Syria and across the Middle East contribute to health complications including the rise in autism.
In May 2019, Senses Cultural convened a workshop in Sacramento, CA, to discuss autism in the Middle East. The workshop brought together world medical experts, and shed light on the latest research in the field of autism. Experts agreed that environmental pollution is a known cause of autism and other neurological disorders.
Senses Cultural will continue its mission of raising awareness about the impact of the environment on autism. We proudly support the climate strikers and its leader Greta Thunberg who courageously turned the gift of being autistic into building a worldwide movement against environmental degradation.
