Maryam Oskoie, or Mia, is a photographer and videographer who began photography after she moved to the United States from Iran. She received a certificate for fashion and wedding photography from Sierra College in Northern California. She found photography helped her approach the beauty of colors, capture moments, and view people and figures with depth.
Maryam loves photography because she believes every single photo is a challenge to consider the right light, the focus, the speed, the framing, object movements and poses in a split second. Maryam joined Senses Cultural in 2017, and shot photos and videos, and even conducted interviews with autism specialists for Senses Cultural’s autism workshops held at the Tehran Autism School.
