Senses Cultural is pleased to announce that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UC Davis MIND Institute, a research center committed to the awareness, understanding, prevention, care, and cures of neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism.

Dr. Randi Hagerman, the Medical Director of MIND Institute and an expert in fragile X syndrom, one of the causes of autism, says the MOU with Senses Cultural creates an academic bridge.

“It is our pleasure to collaborate with Sense’s [00:35:00] cultural within MRU between the mind Institute and Sensus cultural that is focused on collaboration to advance educational endeavors and research between MIND Institute professionals and Iran.”

Through Senses Cultural, Dr. Hagerman and other experts from the U.S. had the opportunity to travel to both Tehran and Esfahan in Iran to participate in a series of workshops on autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She says the potential for future collaborations could not only help families with autism, but

“I really believe that our relationship with Senses Cultural is a catalyst for enhancing our educational and research endeavors with Iran and for bringing about positive interactions between our two countries, and I believe that these positive collaboration will further world peace.”
