As we just celebrated the International Women’s Day, Senses Cultural cannot imagine anything more worth celebrating than this special day! Our Senses Cultural team and supporters have been advocating on behalf of women, mothers and families for many years, particularly for those in the Middle East or those from a Middle Eastern background. Some years back, we expanded our focus to encompass those families who may struggle with a disability including those with a neurodevelopmental diagnosis such as autism orfragile X syndrome. So often, it is women who carry the main responsibility of caring for a child with special needs and for those women, in particular, we add our special acknowledgement of their role and we celebrate their commitment and dedication. Senses Cultural will continue to work hard to build a better world. Please review the report below for an overview of our efforts.
